UPDATE: Stable and waiting to move on to the PP senator and mayor of Aguilar de Campoo, María José Ortega
Global Update:
Governments, analysts, and media outlets are continuing to follow this situation closely as additional details become available.

“He is stable and waiting to move on to the Burgos Care Complex,” say municipal sources from the Aguilar de Campoo City Council, in statements to EL ESPAÑOL de Castilla y León. All, speaking of María José Ortega, the PP senator and mayor of the Palencia town, 61 years old, who this Saturday, June 13, suffered a traffic accident, at around 2:25 p.m., in the PP-2201, in the municipality of Aguilar de Campoo (Palencia). “They came from the mass in Menaza, a nearby town. In the car were María José Ortega, Jesús Sevilla, who is the Urban Planning councilor and provincial deputy, aged 60, and his wife and daughter,” the same sources assure this newspaper. María José Ortega was injured after a front-to-side collision between two cars, as reported by the Emergency Service. The room notified the Civil Traffic Guard, the Local Police of Aguilar de Campoo and Health Emergencies-Sacyl, which sent a mobile ICU, a basic life support ambulance, the medical team of the Health Center and a medical helicopter. The health personnel attended to María José Ortega at the scene. She was later transferred by medical helicopter to the Burgos Care Complex. “She is conscious and you can talk to her. She has pain, but nothing serious,” add the same sources. Luckily it seems that after the traffic accident, and the severity of it, everything will remain a scare and there will be no victims to mourn.
